We are an equestrian brand driven by our passion for polo, riding and British heritage. We have always been grounded in the sport and place emphasis on the unique heritage of the British polo scene.
Our Founder
Founded in 2018 by Robert Cameron, Hook Polo was born from a lifelong passion for the sport. Through his career as an Army Reserve Officer, Robert was fortunate enough to represent the Armed Forces and British Army Polo internationally, experiencing first-hand the traditions and community that make polo unique.
Inspired to bring a fresh perspective to the sport, he set out to create a brand that celebrates its heritage while introducing new ideas, brighter colours and a modern approach for the next generation.
Where it all began...
In 2018, Robert combined his passion for polo with his background in design, setting out to bring a fresh perspective to the sport. It all started with the Hook Polo Gloves - colourful, distinctive designs created to stand out in a traditionally understated market.
After ordering a small first batch and sharing them with friends and the wider polo community, word quickly spread. What started as a simple idea soon became the beginning of Hook Polo.
Factory visits
We work closely with trusted manufacturers to create products that combine quality, heritage and modern design. Around 80% of our production now takes place here in the UK — from our knitwear, proudly made in Leicester, to our embroidery and printing, all finished by skilled British specialists.
For the rest of our collections, we partner with carefully selected international manufacturers who share our commitment to quality, craftsmanship and responsible production. From the first stitch to the finished product, every detail is considered to create clothing made to be worn and enjoyed for years to come.
British sporting roots
From 2024–2026, Hook Polo was proud to be the Official Clothing Partner and sponsor of the British Army Polo Team. A milestone in our journey that reflects our roots in the sport and commitment to creating timeless British polo-inspired clothing.
